Hi,
When playing the webinar files in Windows Media Player, I can only rewind or fast forward in small jumps (few minutes each), so I can´t go to the exact second I want within the record. It is specially annoying when I want to go back to hear something I have just heard and the record jumps few minutes back instead of allowing me to hear what was just 10 seconds ago.
Is this a problem that can be fixed (other player, other configuration, ...) or is a matter of how the file is done? Any solution about that?
Kindly help...

I assume you're talking about the recorded webinar files. I use this program for watching those:
http://mpc-hc.org/ Works to the second for me.

Thank you for your help, it works nicely... should have asked before.

No problem. I don't have windows media player on my computer and can't seem to easily download it for free, so this program has been very helpful for watching the recorded daily webinars.
Cheers.

WMP shouldn't be a problem as long as you download the video first.

I downloaded mpc-hc but can't get it to play at different speeds. I tried the command to decrease and increase rate but that didn't work for me. The decrease rate did a rewind. Do you know of a way to change the speed of the playback using mpc-hc?
Subject:
No I don't. Just curious -- why do you want that feature?

Speeding up Al's speech saves a lot of time.
Slowing down sports videos gives you the details of shots. Page 1 of 1
