Hi,

Is there a way to see the Bar-by-bar analysis using abbreviations instead of the the full text? If so, kindly point it out to me, as I can see it...

Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to currently do that, but it would be very nice to be able to just see the abbreviations during the Bar-by-bar.

Yeah, I think this is not currently available but maybe a feauture easy to add and very helpful. Once you are used to the abbreviations the full text makes is harder to read so maybe the admins could give us the option to better study the Bar-by-bar analysis!

Looking forward to hear from them!

I've modified the code and added a second bar-by-bar analysis without the definitions.

You could keep the very nice tooltip function over the without the definitions version.
BTW could you make the awesome bar analsys mobile screen friendly?

Unfortunately the bar-by-bar analysis doesn't have the ability to decode html. Any codes put in there just get displayed along with the rest of the text. I'll have to look into the mobile friendly format. That gets complicated since there are so many variables.

I've noticed there is frequently the "SO" abbreviation which gets decoded as "Stop order or orders", but that doesn't really make sense in the context. More likely it seems to just be the word "so" (as in "therefore"). Can you check on this please? -- If it is not intended to be an abbreviation then it is quite confusing. Thank you!

Yes, it will convert any abbreviation that is also a word or symbol if that word or symbol is used in the Forums. If it seems out of context then it probably is.

I'm referring specifically to Al's bar-by-bar analysis notes from the trading room. It seems like there should be a way for a word to be "escaped" so it doesn't get interpreted as an abbreviation. (An alternative would be for him to use the word "therefore" instead of "so"...)
Please consider this as a request for improvement.
